Global leader introduces its product line to the Latin American market to support hypertension care management

ORLANDO – July 12, 2018 – For the thousands of attendees at this year’s Florida International Medical Expo (FIME) Show, A&D Medical, a global leader in connected health and biometric measurement devices and services, will be displaying its complete line of medical products for the professional and consumer markets in the company’s booth (Hall B, B.P41).  

“We know hypertension and cardiovascular disease represent a significant health challenge around the globe,” said Terry Duesterhoeft, president and CEO of A&D Company – Americas. “Comprehensive monitoring has been shown to reduce the overall cost of hypertension care – while empowering patients to better manage their health. To that end, the product line we’re displaying is designed to span the care continuum – from initial diagnosis to monitoring critical vital signs at home.” 

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases are the #1 cause of death globally, and hypertension and obesity put individuals at higher risk for developing cardiovascular disease. As a result, WHO recommends regular blood pressure and weight monitoring as critical components of prevention and health management programs. 

To demonstrate how both patients and providers can leverage technology as a part of comprehensive cardiovascular care, A&D Medical will be showcasing the company’s full line of hypertension related products and related software from ambulatory blood pressure to kiosks for office and retail spaces to personal-use home blood pressure monitors.
